Ara Vartanian

Ara Vartanian

Born into a family of jewelers, Ara Vartanian is responsible for some innovations in the  jewelry universe, such as the use of the inverted diamond and two and three-finger rings. His pieces are one-of-a-kind and handmade. He takes in the singularities of a gem and, having those as an inspiration, designs unpredictable structures.

Ara graduated in Economics from Boston University and has worked as a trader at NASDAQ, in New York.  In 2000 he left the financial market to dedicate himself to his vocation: design jewelry.

His first pieces were available at the international market and his work started to become well-known and recognized, conquering clients like Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler, Kate Moss and Sharon Stone.

In his workshop, integrated to his atelier, he supervises the assembly of each of his creations, leading a team of artisans.
